Large bronze Christ formerly mounted as a crucufix which has retained its beautiful deep and nuanced original patina.Model of living Christ with the head tilted to the left and the body slightly swaying to the right.
has an original opening on the back, I think late 18th early 19th, but perhaps older, details such as veins, toes and hands are indicative of a beautiful cast executed in a very good workshop.
