"Louis XVI Period Fireplace Screen."
In the shape of a medallion and from the 18th century. Original patinated gray lacquer. Completely mounted at small pegs. Flowers carved on the top. Very pretty tapestry of flowers made with the needle, with small points. This tapestry is original and in perfect condition. The back of the screen is lined with a checkered canvas in used condition (small rust spots and a small tear, see photo). The feet, in consoles, are lined with acanthus leaves.
