Narrow Louis XVI style trumeau, composed of a mercury mirror at the bottom and an engraving at the top.The frame is in gilded wood, decorated with a ribbon bow at the top.
The engraving is titled "The Winter Evening".
The mercury mirror has a few small pits, giving it its charm.
The bottom is paper for the upper part, and a wooden plate for the bottom.
French work from the first part of the 20th century.
